Hoping the rebels will not destroy your palace. Or you can ban the elections and just keep yourself at power by military exploiting your people to get as much cash as possible. You can try to be nice, keep your people happy and keep yoursefl at power by elections. Due to this deep simulatio nthe game is easy to play (the impacts of your actions are intuitive and you need just common sense to understand what you need to do) but difficult to master (you can really micromanage individuall factions and try to affect how many people are in each of them and, bribe their leaders, etc.) Nice thing about Tropico is that you can play it with diffeerent styles. But everybody in religious faction will recieve negative points to his happiness. Allowing same sex marrige will group more people into familise and you need less houses.

Houses does not contain free slots for people, but families. Nice example of the game depth is for example allowance of same sex marriage. You can also issue different edicts (laws) that will somehow change the life on the island and have different advantages and dissadvantages (you can assign some free food to citizens = happier people, but lesser exports. And your citizens are divided into several political factions. You need to keep other countries happy (to avoid invasion and receive bigger foreign aid). But in theory sick person on one end of the map can walk to hospital on the other end. And if people live and work far away, it will take a long time to travel there and will maybe miss the work, etc. It is not a good idea because the capacity may not handle all sick people. The difference is, that in theory one hospital can cover whole island. But you need to get individual citizens to the working hospital). (you dont need to feed hospital with employees to automatically improve health in surrounding area. The game is focusing on simulation of individual citizens. There is also almost no "area of effect" placed on buildings. There is no "zoning" and you place each single building indivitually. If you did not play previous Tropico games: Tropico is a city building game based on pretty deep (but not overwhelming) simulation. There are better city builders, but not so many and Tropico is still worth playing too.

But personally I consider it best in the series and one of the best city building games in the genre (platform wide).

Tropico 5 happiness Ps4#

Of course it is best of the genre on the PS4 (duh). But personally I consider it best in the series Tropcio 5 is a great city building game. If there are two words that could best explain Tropico 6, they'd be "need" and "space" in the largest font, in bold, underlined and in bright fluorescent pink just to draw attention to them.Tropcio 5 is a great city building game. If I wasn't being an absolute prat about it, they'd be "balance" and "freedom". Tropico 6 is fundamentally a game about letting you develop your land however you please.

You can be a dictator, ruthlessly arresting - or killing - all who oppose you. Maybe you want to be a benevolent leader, offering your people total freedom, but keeping yourself in power by keeping them happy.

This is where the balance comes into play. As you may expect in a city-building game, you have many elements to keep balanced. From the base factor of your population's happiness, which is impacted directly by a myriad of other aspects you need to keep balanced. These are, but not limited to homelessness, employment levels, liberty, food variety & quality, entertainment variety & quality, crime safety, healthcare and pollution levels. All of these will be directly impacted by the buildings you build but also the layout of your city, with buildings having a limited area of effect as well as a max number of spaces for the Tropicans who may need to visit them. In addition to keeping your Tropicans happy, you'll also find the need to keep a track of and balance the happiness of eight different factions, many of which can truly determine the path of your island nation. Particularly so when it comes to election times in later stages. Early on you only really have to balance between royalists and revolutionaries, where you'll always want to grow the revolutionaries and eventually declare yourself independent of the crown.
